Boarding

Our beautiful, rustic facility offers several options for overnight boarding.

Dogs can enjoy one of our sixty full height, indoor and outdoor runs. These runs are 5 X 5 inside with individual doors that open to a covered 5 X 10 outside area.

Larger, family sized runs ( 6 X 5 opening to 6 X 10) are also available.

Additional comfort is provided by central heat and air conditioning, 24 hour easy listening music, a bed of their own (either one from home or one of ours) and a night time biscuit treat.

Cats can enjoy a full cattery featuring a home environment, fifteen roomy suites and around the clock television viewing.

Rates are based on the size/weight of your dog as follows:

Under 20lbs.... $22.00 per day
21-45lbs.... $23.00 per day
46-69lbs.... $24.00 per day
70-95lbs.... $25.00 per day
96 lbs+.... $26.00 per day

CATS:

All Sizes $16.00 per day

BILLING POLICY - BOARDING

The per diem rates shown above are charged for the day of drop-off and each day of the stay. There is no charge for the day of departure if pickup is made between 8:00am and 12:00 noon. If pickup is made after 12:00 noon, a charge for that day will be applied.

The only exceptions to the above policy are:

1.) If your pet is being groomed on the day of departure there is no boarding charge for that day (EXCLUDING WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY WHEN THERE IS NO GROOMING)

2.) For the convenience of our customers, we are open for pickups only from 4-5pm on Sunday. The regular per diem rate will be applied for Sunday. If pickup cannot be made on Sunday, you have until 12:00 noon on Monday to pickup your pet with no additional charge.

FOR NEW CLIENTS RESERVING THREE DAYS OR MORE, A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO HOLD THE DATES.
THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE WITH OUT AN ADVANCE NOTICE OF 10 DAYS.
THE DEPOSIT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM END BOARDING BALANCE.

OTHER CHARGES...

DIPPING:
All pets will be examined for ecto-parasites and will be dipped if found positive at a charge before admittance to the facility. Charges are as follows:

Small size dogs (under 20 lbs.) $20.00
Medium size dogs (26-50 lbs.) $30.00
Large size dogs (over 40lbs.) $40.00
Cats - all sizes $35.00

MEDICATION:
Pets Recieving Medication….$1.00 per dose

BOARDING IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

DOGS:
All dogs must be currently immunized against Distemper, Bordetella (canine cough) and Rabies. We recommend Bordetella be given two weeks prior to boarding to allow an incubation period.
CATS:
All cats must be currently immunized against Rabies and Distemper. We also recommend immunization against Feline Leukemia, and Feline Respitory Diseases.

Proof of vaccination can be faxed ahead of time or must be presented at time of arrival.

FOOD:
You are welcome to bring your pets own food for his or her stay. Please bring just enough for the dates reserved. We will label bags and containers upon arrival. If you choose, we also provide our own dry maintenence diet, which is a high protein, meat based formula. There is no difference in cost, however we recommend you bring your own specially formulated food for puppies, geriatric pets, or those who are on restricted diets for weight loss/gain, or those who have allergies.

BELONGINGS:

Camelot Kennels will provide a bed, blanket and toys for your pet or you are welcome to bring your own subject to the following:

All belongings should be washable and of reasonable size
Toys should be limited to 1-3
Small crates are acceptable

Camelot Kennels will label all belongings at time of arrival. We do not recommend bringing articles of great value as pets on occasion will tear or chew beds, blankets and toys due to their changed environment. Camelot Kennels cannot be held responsible for any such damages.
